The team ran in 4 tries against Harwich to secure the bonus point and move us out of the Relegation Zone.
Crusaders started strongly and put early pressure on the Harwich line.
2nd team captain Tim Zielinski was making his first team debut but sadly only lasted 5 mins with a nasty leg injury. This saw George King replace Tim after a 3 month lay off due to injury.

Some good play by the forwards and quick ball to the backs saw Crusaders come close but could not cross the line either good defence or last pass going a miss. Crusaders were further rocked back after 30 mins when a good line out and drive by Harwich set them up nicely for a well taken drop goal 7-13 to Harwich.
The boys could have buckled at this point but kept strong as a unit and were camped in the Harwich 22. Just on the stoke of half time the forwards picked and go 3 times being held up just short. Man of the Match scrum half Rob Loone saw a gap left by the defence and dived over from close range to score under the posts 12-13. Rob converted his own try to make half time 14-13 to Crusaders.
Harwich started strongly in the second half with some good runs but were held at bay by some good defence by Crusaders side.
The game was there to be won and Crusaders forwards started to get the upper hand after a good period of attacking rugby were camped on the Harwich line. On 65 minutes the home team were driving right under the posts and Harwich twice gave away penalties for offside and pulling ruck down to give the ref no option but to award a penalty try 19-13 converted by Rob Loone 21-13. Crusaders were now in search of the bonus point try. A great break from a line out on half way by Josh Stuart saw him offload brillantly to George King who was tackled just short of the line and Harwich cleared.
Good ball won by the forwards saw Crusaders back in the Harwich 22 and quick ball to the ever impressive Stewart Cameron saw him crash over under the posts 26-13 Converted again by Rob Loone 28-13.
