Crusaders travelled to Swaffham for league game in high spirits after 2 wins on the trot.

Crusaders started strongly and were pinning the hosts back on their line. The scrum was in control and after 2 scrums on Swaffham line they were rewarded a penalty try 0-5 to Crusaders conversion scored by Robert Loone. 0-7. Crusaders were pushing hard for another score and off a quick scrum the ball went blind to Charlie Hawkins who broke two tackles to release the back from injury James Garner to score in the corner 0-12 Crusaders after 15 minutes.
Swaffham came back into the game and after 2 scrums on the Crusaders line crashed over 5-12 conversion taken 7-12 at half time.
Crusaders started the 2nd half strongly and after a quick penalty the ball went wide but was intercepted by Swaffham to go the length of the pitch to score under the posts conversion taken 14-12 to the home side.
Crusaders may well have buckled at this stage but were by far the better side and re took the lead after good work from the forwards saw Stewart Cameron crash over 14-17 after 55 minutes. With the Crusaders tails now up they pushed Swaffham back and again the forwards took control and Henry Joy Crashed over to score under the posts 14-22 Rob Loone converted to make score 14-24 after 60 minutes. Also this gave us the important bonus point. Swaffham on a rare vist to Crusaders half scored a good try in the corner after quick hands in the backs 19-24.
Crusaders sealed the win after a great break by Ben Barker on the blindside saw him get jink passed two tackles to touch down.
Final score 19-29.
Crusaders caused Swaffham problems all day and the penalty count against the hosts was high with 2 yellow cards as well.
