crusaders continue their good season apace and built confidence for some hard fixtures to come with a very good win in suffolk against a spirited but ultimately depleted thurston outfit who for long periods had frustrated the little melton outfit.
the scoring started after 15 minutes when Pete Blinkhorn drove over for a score from the base of a set scrum followed by another score from Ross Nicholson and yet a further score by Josh Stuart before half time two of which were converted by Tristan Smith. crusaders conceded a try shortly before half time which went unconverted but cut loose after the break with further scores from Rob Loone (x2) Ashley Smith,Pete Blinkhorn, Ryan Harris and Stewart Cameron (x2) four of which converted by Tristan Smith.the home side suffered injury losses and the sending off of their number 8 for a punch thrown in front of the referee.
