Great game at Hadleigh where Crusaders notched up 4th win on the trot
The side arrived at Hadleigh in good spirits with 3 changes from last game
The game started with Hadleigh getting an early penalty for offside which was well taken 3-0 to home side. The home side had started the better and were the first to score a try after good forward pressure conversion was missed 8-0 to the home side
This kicked us in to action after some stern words from Lewi a great break from Ash saw him off load to Ryan who was held up. From the next scrum Crusaders were awarded a penalty quick thinking from Ryan saw him score 8-5 with the conversion missed. Half Time 8-5 to the home side
A good half time talk and the need to up the pace saw Crusaders start the 2nd half strongly a keep the home side pinned in there half. Tristan collect a kick from the home side and weaved through the Hadleigh defence into the 22 where he off loaded to George to score under the posts 8-10 with Tristan converting 8-12. Crusaders kept the pressure on and a good back move saw the flying Callum in to score in the corner 8-17 great conversion by Tristan 8-19 with just over 15 minutes to go. Hadleigh never gave up and a good back move saw them score in the corner 13-19 to keep them in the hunt. A Good break from the kick off saw a penalty to Crusaders slotted over by Tristan 13-22 with less then 10 minutes to go. Crusaders carried on pushing for the bonus point try. A good kick to the corner from Rob after a penalty gave us a line out on the 22. The line out was taken by lewi and the drive was superb and George took the ball over 13-27. The final play of the game saw Hadleigh score a good try after a good move under the posts Final Score 20-27 a great away bonus point win
