I started my playing career at 19. I started playing lock forward for Southwold women and went on to represent Eastern Counties women's squad playing in this position. From this I was offered a place with Saracens women and also played for the first ever Women's Suffolk squad.
I then went on to start a women's team at Lowestoft and Yarmouth rugby club, I also played for Beccles Women for a season where I captained and helped rebuild the squad. I then embarked a lengthy run at Lakenham Hewett.
I have had to take a break from rugby after an unrelated back injury but plan on getting back on the pitch for crusaders! I've experienced playing many positions on the pitch including lock, prop, number 8, flanker and centre.
I love coaching because I can pass on the knowledge I have gained over the many years I've played and I enjoy seeing how the women develop and become better and better players!
