Once again Crusaders took time to get into their stride, waiting until the second half before really getting grip of the game and running at the opposition. With Martin and Aiden missing, the back row was thrown together at short notice with Swaffham dominating the break down in the first half.
However, not for the first time this season, Cru's nearly snatched a win from the jaws of defeat. With renewed vigour and particularly aggressive running and rucking from Kinglsey, Sharpie and Gareth (I hate to say it again, but putting the youngsters to shame), took Cru's over the line twice.
A game to forget really but with a renewed focus on the game plan that worked in the second half should produce better results in future. League leaders Wymondham away this weekend and a chance to announce a purpose for the final couple of months of the season.
