Over the past two days Crusaders RFC has had a slightly different look as we continue to invest in our facilities. 200 tonnes of sports sand has been delivered and as you will see from one of the images we found an individual with a unique way of spreading it!!! ?

As a club we have invested almost £10k into our pitches this summer including seed, fertiliser, sand, vertidraining (aerating) plus herbicide to kill the weeds to provide much improved playing surfaces on all three pitches plus training areas.

With further investment agreed for later this year this is part of our ongoing commitment to continue to provide excellent facilities both on and off the pitch.

Crusaders is of course a non-profit organisation and this has been achieved via the support of our rugby community therefore we must say a big thank you to Longwater Gravel, Rob Ransome and of course to all our players, members, and sponsors for their ongoing commitment and support.
