Susan who has been our amazing treasurer for the last few years is stepping down at the end of this season. Susan is really willing to show someone else the ropes so there will be plenty of training and support. We also bring in the paid support of a tax advisor and accountant to help with end of year accounts.

The role involves:
1. Ensuring floats are available as required
2. Paying in cash
3. Assigning incoming & outgoing receipts through Xero (our accounting system)
4. Preparing end of year accounts
5. Claiming VAT and paying tax
6. Authorising payments
It would obviously be helpful if anyone has experience of using Xero or other accounting software.

This role holds officer responsibilities for our club, and there is the need to attend monthly committee meetings throughout the rugby season.
