A strong showing from the 1st team, who dominated large parts of the game and looked solid for the majority. Thetford found another gear in the final 20 minutes to edge ahead, but the lads’ efforts were rewarded with a solitary point in brutal conditions — fair play to the hosts for finishing strongly. The match ended 21-15 to Thetford.
