Crusaders controlled large parts of the game but a clinical Thetford side took their chances and punished our mistakes, playing some very good rugby in the process.
Crusaders spent much of the game in front at 7–3 and were dominant in many areas, but a resilient Thetford outfit took their opportunities in the final quarter to edge the result. A performance the lads can be proud of against one of the stronger sides in the league.
Plenty of positives to take from the performance and a big shift from everyone involved.

A brilliant performance from our fullback Liam yesterday, who takes this week’s 1st XV Player of the Match.
Liam injected real pace into the game all afternoon, finding gaps in the opposition defence and keeping them on their toes. He was also heavily involved defensively and helped shift play across the park to keep the pressure on.
A top performance and fully deserved. Well done Liam
