Recently our u10s Team Manager; Jon Reed travelled to Kenya with his company; Paddy & Scott’s Coffee to visit and support the communities in Meru that farm coffee for Paddy & Scott’s.

Jon was lucky to spend time working in 3 schools in Meru (300km north of Nairobi) and met 1000+ rugby mad Kenyan school children. As part of Crusaders’ community focus we were delighted to send some rugby kit with Jon for the kids in Meru and would like to do more.

This year at our awards bash we will be fundraising to provide sports equipment for the Ruiga Girls Secondary Boarding School (If you like ?). Later this year Jon is hoping to send some coaches from Ealing Trailfinders out to Meru to inspire the next generation of Rugby 7s players.
